On July 10, we were fortunate enough to re-open the Skokie Theatre the entertaining musical “Cooking with Bubbie,” our first in-person show at the theatre since March of 2020 when all live theater in Chicago had to close down.
The health and safety of our guests, staff and artists remains our top priority. We regularly review the public safety guidelines from the CDC and the Illinois Department of Public Health, as well as the best practices of other theatres, concert venues and production organizations.
As of August 2nd, Skokie Theatre will require all patrons to show proof of vaccination as they arrive at the theatre for their performance. Patrons who have not been vaccinated may provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours prior to the performance.
All Skokie Theatre staff, cast, musicians, ushers and crew are fully vaccinated.
Except for the performers, everyone is asked to remain masked while in the building, except while eating or drinking.
We ask that employees and guests stay home if they are sick or exposed to COVID-19. Please contact the box office to transfer your tickets to another performance, donate your tickets or request a refund. There will be no fees or penalties for making changes to your tickets.
If you are not fully vaccinated by the time of your performance, please contact the box office at 847-677-7761 to discuss your options.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we strive to keep the theatre safe and open. We look forward to a time in the future when we can welcome all patrons and when proof of vaccination isn’t required.
