All musical auditions will be held between 12:00 – 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 16, 2022. We will also ask you to do a short “movement” audition so that we can get a sense of your abilities.
All actors entering the theatre must show proof of complete vaccination and remain masked until performing.

The Skokie Theatre is a “destination” theatre located in downtown Skokie. It is a 140 seat acoustically perfect theatre. You can get to the theatre via car (we have a parking lot), the CTA Yellow line – get off at Oakton (there will be a short walk to the theatre), or the 97 Pace Bus.
Positions
House Manager
Responsibilities include:
Cleaning bathrooms, lobby and floors
Taking inventory of cleaning supplies and concessions weekly
Selling concessions during performances: – approximately 4 per week
Hours vary – mostly evenings and weekends
Closing theatre at the end of the night
Changing marquee signage as necessary (requires ability to climb and move large ladder)
Distribute posters and postcards through Skokie
Qualifications include:
Must have or be willing to obtain a Bassett License enabling applicant to sell liquor
- This requires a 3 hour course which can be taken online
Good customer service skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work without supervision
Approximately 10 – 20 hours per week. Hours vary based on show schedule.
$12.00/hr to start
