A ROLLICKING ROMP OF GOOD MUSIC, GOOD HARMONIES & LOTS OF GOOD FUN!

Two soloists blending....smoothly, consistently and with finesse.  Every song is a duet.  The eclectic program ranges form the Great American Songbook (I Hear Music, Somewhere Over the Rainbow)...to Pop (Scarborough Fair, Ain't No Mountain High Enough)...to Doo Wop (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)...to Broadway (EVITA, HAMILTON).  There are wonderful surprises to elicit smiles, laughter and cheers. Don't miss it!

In the almost 5 decades of performing, Joanie Winter’s resume spans theatre, commercials, films, TV, radio, trade shows, industrials, jingles, Children’s Theatre and Cabaret.  Even before graduating from Northwestern University as a Theatre Major, she began her professional career in AEA Musical Theatre.  She is most proud of understudying the lead role of Eva Peron in the Hal Prince National Tour of EVITA, which began at Chicago’s Shubert Theatre. A sampling of a few favorite leading roles in productions from coast to coast are:  Agnes - I DO! I DO!; Meg - DAMN YANKEES; Melissa - STATE FAIR; Sarah - GUYS & DOLLS; Domina – A FUNNY THING; Laurie - OKLAHOMA; Tuptim - KING & I; Antonia - MAN of LA MANCHA. She currently appears regularly with the SAG-AFTRA Sr. Radio Players (Chicago Cultural Ctr.), giving life to characters from ages 8 to 80, acting, singing and even dancing, including: ALL ABOUT EVE, STAGE DOOR, MEET ME IN ST LOUIS, etc.

As a cabaret performer John Eskola recently made his New York debut at The Metropolitan Room in “A Little Touch of Coward In The Night”, a review of Noel Coward. He has performed at Maxim’s, Drury Lane’s Water Tower Theatre, The Royal George Cabaret, The Cultural Center, and Davenport’s. He is a member of the vocal quartet Espresso, which has played around the country. John is a founding member of Chicago Cabaret Professionals. On stage John has appeared in productions at the Shubert Theater - a National Tour of EVITA; the Goodman Theatre – THE VISIT; Candlelight Dinner Playhouse – PHANTOM; and Marriott's Lincolnshire – SWEENEY TODD. John is the Choir Director at Assumption Church on Illinois Street in Chicago where he also regularly sings masses and weddings.

Patricia Rusk, Musical Director, pianist, arranger and coach for both musical theatre and cabaret, has been performing professionally since age thirteen. A musician who has worked in almost every area of entertainment, she remains active in both classical and pop fields, moving easily from the recital hall to the theatre and cabaret. She has been seen or heard in almost every theatre in Chicago and is probably best remembered as the singing, pianist musical director of the long running FORBIDDEN BROADWAY in the 1980’s.  She has performed twice at the Kennedy Center, in Washington, most recently with her students from the Chicago Academy For The Arts, where she is the Musical Theatre Chair Emeritus and continues to teach and musical direct. Patricia is a founding member of Chicago Cabaret Professionals.
