Who says that comedy is a game for the young?  Chicago's most tenured comedians take on the world.

BILL GORGO laid back style onstage and off and his continuing study of the comedy business makes him an extremely qualified authority on the subject of standup comedy. While performing standup remains his first love, he has written 3 plays and a television series, acted in half a dozen stage productions, is an award winning storyteller, has been active in talk radio, and conducted classes in the art of comedy. His teaching skills are polished, as is his knowledge of all aspects of comedy, onstage and off. Bill’s passion for the entertainment business shines through in each class.

TOM GOTLUND is a 50 something, recently retired funeral director who's looking for a livelier audience. He's delighted to be venturing out into new endeavors that involve the ability to drink, and require less than ten minutes to accomplish. Its amazing how a career in death care has tainted his delicate sensibilities.  Tom has showcased at Get Up, Stand Up, Just Dickin’ Around, and Laughs in the Lounge, as well as many other Chicago venues.

LAURA HUGG performs stand-up, sketch and improv comedy. Currently she is one of the hosts of The Second City Training Center Open Mic, one of Chicago's most diverse stand up comedy mics,  and was formerly the host of The Globe Pub Comedy Open Mic, one of Chicago's longest running stand up mics. She is  a co-creator of "With Kimmy & Laura: A Live 'Advice' Show", the producer of "Funny World" a stand-up and sketch show, and a graduate of The Second City Conservatory.

MICHELLE KRAJECKI is a staple of the Chicago comedy scene. You may have seen her at Zanies or The Laugh Factory. She was a finalist in the Clean Comedy Challenge at Hoosier Park Casino in Indiana and won the High Fiber Division of the Skokie Crown comedy contest in 2016. She's traveled all over the country performing comedy.

JOE NUCCIO performs his observational humor all over the country, from casinos to comedy clubs,  night clubs and theatres. He is a comedian, singer, bass player and songwriter and has honed his craft at Second City and Zanie’s alongside some of Chicago’s funniest people, including Bill Gorgo and Dobie Maxwell.

JULIE PARADISE borrowed  Phyllis Diller's motto, "Funny is funny, what's age got to do with it?" when she first started doing stand-up comedy in 2001. She cut her comedy chops as one of 5 female comics in the popular show, Hysterical Women. The group performed at Davenport's Cabaret, Victory Gardens and Bailiwick Theaters. When members of the group went their separate ways, she began her solo run, doing 15 shows at Zanies Comedy Club in 2012. She is still a regular at Zanies, frequently joining other female comics in the Female Funnies Show.

JOHN PETLICKI has appeared at Skokie Theatre, Wilmette Theatre, WIP Theater, Fusion in Kenosha, The Laugh Factory, Laughs in Lakeview, The Globe Pub and Blue Line Laughs. He played the title character in "The Imaginary Invalid" and has also appeared in "Bus Stop," "Everything in the Garden," "The Water Engine," "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" and "Gypsy." John is a Master Gardener and avid baker.

JAN SLAVIN (producer/host) is a singer, stand up comic and writer who has performed to sold out audiences all over Chicagoland. Jan has appeared at the Chicago Women’s Funny Fest and the Twin Cities Jewish Humor Fest plus Zanie’s, Laugh Factory, The Comedy Bowl, and many other great comedy venues. Jan is also a cabaret artist and has performed solo shows at Davenport’s in Chicago. Jan performs nationally in the hit show, Funny Old Broads, whose home base is the beautiful Skokie Theatre.
